Binance: connect your Spot account securely
Binance is one of the largest centralized cryptocurrency exchanges. The CoinRobot Binance Connector trades the balance in your Binance Spot account through an API key: the robot reads balances and places Spot orders, while assets remain in your Binance account.

Most important: trading permission only
CoinRobot trades only through the Binance API. Enable the permission required for Spot trading, and do not enable Withdraw / withdrawal permission. The robot neither needs nor requests a right to withdraw. Restricting the API key to the IP addresses below is an essential additional safeguard.
What Binance provides, and what you decide
Binance is a centralized exchange: account onboarding, identity verification (KYC), access restrictions, custody, exchange rules and applicable legal/regulatory processes are handled in your relationship with Binance and can vary by jurisdiction. Its scale and exchange transparency metrics can be reviewed in DefiLlama’s CEX transparency ranking.
You decide whether to use Binance, the strategy, and the capital and risk limits of every Plan. Trading has market and execution risk; this is operational documentation, not investment, tax or legal advice.
Prepare your Binance account
- Secure your Binance account and complete any verification Binance requires in your location.
- Put the capital intended for this Connector in the Spot Wallet, not Earn, Funding, Futures, or another Binance product. Deposit or convert to USDC; it is the Connector’s trading currency and the robot sees the free Spot balance through the API.
- Keep two-factor authentication enabled and start with a small test amount.
Create a restricted API key
In Binance, open Profile → API Management, create a system-generated API key, and complete Binance’s security confirmation. Labels and confirmations can change; if the screen differs, follow Binance’s official current guide: How to create API keys on Binance.
- Name it clearly, for example
CoinRobot Spot. - Under API restrictions/permissions enable Spot trading (Binance may call this “Enable Spot & Margin Trading”). Do not use Margin with this Connector.
- Leave Withdraw disabled. CoinRobot never needs withdrawal access.
- In IP access restrictions, choose restricted/trusted IP access and add all six CoinRobot server IP addresses below.
- Save, copy the API key and secret, then enter both on CoinRobot’s Connectors page. Treat the secret like a password; never send it in chat or email.
Enter these in the API key’s IP access restrictions section. They are CoinRobot’s approved execution servers; an omitted address can make an API request fail.

Add the Connector and start a Plan
- In Connectors, create a Binance Connector.
- Select the tradeable assets, select every displayed CoinRobot IP, and paste the Binance API key and secret.
- Save the Connector. If its API test fails, check that the key is active, all six IPs are present, Spot trading is enabled, and both credentials are correct.
- Create or open a Plan, select this Connector, review its strategy and amount, then start it. The robot sends market orders through the API; it does not transfer funds out of Binance.
Balance and trading-fee information
Check the live balance in the Dashboard: open Dashboard and use Open position balances by connector. Select this Connector and load the full account balance to see the current Binance balance and the part used by the robot in open positions.
Fees are handled by the robot: Binance fees can be paid in BNB. The robot monitors its BNB fee balance and, if it runs low and free USDC is available, can buy BNB automatically. Keep sufficient free USDC and monitor the notification email for completed purchases or funding warnings; if an automatic purchase cannot complete, an order may use Binance’s normal fee deduction or fail under Binance’s rules.
Security checklist
- Use a separate CoinRobot API key and restrict it to the six IPs above.
- Enable Spot trading only; never enable Withdraw for this Connector.
- Keep capital in the Binance Spot Wallet and begin with a small amount.
- Never disclose your Binance password, two-factor code, API secret, or recovery codes.
- To stop automation, stop the Plan. You can also disable or delete the API key in Binance API Management, which prevents new requests with that key.
