FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
Which platforms are supported?
Integrations are currently available for Binance, OKX, Alpaca, DEX-Arbitrum and DEX-Solana. The actual list of usable platforms and symbols is visible when creating a Connector and may change over time.
How can I start the robot?
First, create an API key on the Platform where you trade. With this, you can create a Connector in the robot. Based on that Connector, you can create a Plan for any assets and strategies, and you can also start a backtest. You can view the detailed process flowchart in the trading-flow article. You can watch video guides about registration, connector creation and plan creation.
Where is my money?
With a CEX, your money and assets remain at the CEX you choose. With a DEX, they remain in a dedicated Vault (smart contract) that you, the user and owner, create. CoinRobot.AI only receives trading permission for the Vault. Only the owner can withdraw assets or authorize a transfer to another account. This permission model is verifiable in the publicly available Vault code. CoinRobot.AI does not store money, hold assets in custody or operate as a wallet.
Which trading strategy do we use?
The robot uses the strategy you select, create, copy or modify. Some strategies can also be AI-managed, in which case AI regularly reviews and optimizes their formulas. This is activated only when the user explicitly selects it while creating the Plan. Public strategies are community content, not CoinRobot.AI investment recommendations.
Can I lose all my assets?
Yes. Trading involves significant risk and all assets used for trading may be lost. Only risk an amount you can afford to lose.
Can the robot withdraw funds?
For a CEX, withdrawal permission is not required and must not be granted to the API key. For a DEX, only the user can initiate a withdrawal from the Vault smart contract. The robot may help execute it, but assets can only be returned to the user’s original owner account; the user can perform the same action independently of CoinRobot.AI through a direct smart-contract call on another platform.
How do credits work?
Trading consumes credits. The default base is 1 credit per live trade or 0.1 per backtest trade; an active AI-optimized strategy uses a 1.3× base before the Plan-size and user multipliers. Credits can be obtained by coupon or USDC transfer and earned by referrals or public-strategy use. Account shows the full ledger and returnable non-free balance; unused non-free credits may be requested back by their original acquisition method. See the Credits article for current details.
Is there an affiliate system?
There is referral/affiliate tracking: the system records and may display referral relationships in the Account menu. After a referral, the referrer may receive credits, and credit deductions from referred users may be redistributed across 3 levels. See the Credits article and Affiliate rules for the referral benefits. This is currently credit redistribution, not an automatic cash commission or guaranteed payout.
Do I receive credits if others use my strategy?
Yes, when other users use a recommended or public strategy, the strategy publisher may currently receive 40% credit redistribution after that strategy usage.
What happens if I delete a Plan?
When a Plan is deleted, related logs and data are deleted from the system. Trades already executed on the external platform are not affected retroactively.
What happens when I delete my account?
When an account is deleted, related user data is deleted. Public strategies may remain and be transferred to Admin ownership, and Terms acceptance records may remain tied to refID, not to an email address.
